A risk assessment or a powerful tool for the optimisation of data centre design: what should the role of CFD be in data centre design?
is one of the most common causes of a drop in suction.
Tilt it up so you can see the bottom of the floorhead..Pull the catch up on the side of the floorhead to remove the softer DuoClean brush from the bottom of the floorhead.
It should come away easily..This is a good time to clean the comb that’s usually hidden by the DuoClean brush, as this is important for maintaining the cleaning performance..Turn the floorhead upright again, then press the two release buttons located on either side of the air outlet.
This should pop up a cover at the front of the floorhead, which provides easy access to the main brush..Pull the silver tab to remove the main brush roll.. Once you’ve removed the brushes, you can either clean them (see the section below) or replace them with new ones..
Some Shark vacuums don’t allow you to remove the main brush roll.
For these models, you’ll need to cut away any string or hair with the brush still in position. You may be able to pull out the blockage using your hand or a non-sharp tool (be careful not to damage the hose.).
If you can’t see a visible blockage, squeeze along the hose to try and find it.Once you’ve located the blockage, try bending and squeezing the hose around this area.
Reattach the hose and turn on the vacuum to see if the blockage has been loosened enough to be sucked into the vacuum..If there’s no blockage in the hose, take apart the floor tool by removing the pin.
