The Fall fair was coming to my mud room!.The Fall fair is a place where flashy lights mix perfectly with corn mazes, food stands, displays of pumpkins and mums, and plenty of live stock.. Every Fall on (Canadian) Thanksgiving long weekend, there’s a Fall fair here that we really enjoy going to.

I thought this would be a great way to set the mood..I used plenty o’ corn, and some rubber boots for stomping through all that mud when you’re visiting the horses and chickens.. $3 mums from Walmart get all fancy in a galvanized pail with some burlap and ribbon.My mason jar light.

This little wreath just seems to get recycled for every season now.

It just always looks good..But it’s just not to my taste yet.

Today’s little kitchen tour is all about how I love it anyway while we wait to be able to do the big renovation of our dreams..So welcome to my kitchen!

This is a large, typical old farmhouse kitchen.The house itself is about 115 years old and the kitchen addition was added on about 80 years ago.
